The process used to create these images begins with an SX-70 Polaroid instant print using Time Zero film. After the film is ejected from the camera a stylus is used to push the color emulsion pack to manipulate the image into the vision that I see of the subject. The manipulation gives the print an impressionistic feeling to emulate my interpretation. The image may be further enhanced using Photoshop or Painter and finally they are individually printed onto archival cotton rag papers using archival pigmented inks. Alas, this process in no longer possible since Polaroid has stopped making the film and cameras.
