Colleen Spencer Henderson. - When focusing on land and seascapes she is drawn to wide-open, unspoiled places and prefers photographing during the golden hour. When the city is her inspiration she prefers nighttime shots, especially after a snowfall, which can turn the city into something magical. With studio still life subjects she has greater control over content and lighting, allowing her to freely explore nature’s structures, patterns and rhythms up close. Colleen has developed a series of Photoshop classes and digital photography workshops to teach others how to effectively use digital technologies to enhance their art. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience, and has helped hundreds of students become more productive and creative using these new technologies.

Bert GF Shankman - My current work is an immersion of my life in my art.  I photograph flowers exclusively.  Well perhaps a few mushrooms. I grew up on a farm where I gained an appreciation of nature which has remained a lifelong passion.  I currently have a garden where I grow all the flowers I photograph.  This way I am able to record all phases in the lives of my flowers in all kinds of weather.  My objective is to create images which are a reflection of my feelings. My intent is to create an image, using flowers, that evokes a wide range of emotions.  It is to be a mirror where I, the artist, and the audience share the ability to see ourselves.  Obviously the reflections differ.

Danny Conant is a Washington D.C. area fine art photographer whose work has appeared in many national publications. Her specialty is photographing figures, then she uses a number of alternative processes to produce her beautiful imagery; platinum, silver gelatin, Polaroid emulsion transfers and beyond the digital prints. Retiring from teaching so she could fully immerse herself in her photography, Conant has studied photography and printmaking. Her studies have allowed her to work with Ralph Gibson, Olivia Parker, Elizabeth Opalenik, Greg Gorman, and Joyce Tenneson. Conant’s extensive travels have taken her to the far and near east. Multiple trips to China and Tibet have allowed her to delve further into the spirit and culture of the regions. Her most recent work, "Tibetan Journey", is an extensive collection of beautiful and diverse artworks, on paper, fresco and a book.
